London/outside negotiable chief operations officer (Full-time)

locATION:

We are pleased to have a full-time position in London

To build capacity for the growth of KICK. Bringing operational clarity and focus to operational implementation of KICK’s strategic aims, overseeing and coaching key Directors. To assess and enhance the efficiency of KICK through key resource management approaches. To innovate and
improve key functions within the organisation. It will be important that the applicant is able to collaborate well with leaders as well as other key stakeholders in order to support the growth of KICK in size and development.

APPLICANTS WILL:

• Oversee and optimise operations, to review and improve efficiencies that can be made by the organisation.
• Planning for future budgets in line with the KICK strategy including setting strategic targets and driving organisational growth.
• Develop and oversee the delivery of the KICK fundraising strategy, sourcing new contacts and strategic partners.
• Leadership of the quality improvement plan and the management of schools and KICK Academies.
• Providing insight to human resources and recruitment as KICK continues to grow natonally.
• Establishing policies that improve and promote KICK’s vision, mission and culture.

Relationship manager

Full-Time (12 Month Fixed Term Contract with opportunity to extend)

LOCATION:

We are pleased to have a full time position in either East Midlands, North West or North East. 

The relationship Manager will work closely with the Director of Quality to manage all timetabling of sessions within the Midlands, North of England and East of England ensuring coaches are placed strategically to the expectations of each individual school. The role includes directly managing a team of coaches and/or mentors and contribute to the strategic and spiritual direction of the charity. This role will also include working with the talent acquisition team to promote and attract new staff members to the organisation in areas outside of London.

APPLICANTS WILL:

• Full line management of coaches – responsible for team performance.

• On-going relationship management of schools ensuring a positive school retention figure.

• Schedule timetables for coaches and arrange cover from sessional pool where necessary.

• Working with the HR Manager to develop termly campaigns, through external advertising and where helpful recruitment events and festivals

• Developing Strategic Partners such as churches and organisations from which to source talent

• Working in partnership with the Quality Team to ensure all staff members are observedregularly and in line with the targets set.

• Ability to observe staff members across all services delivered at KICK and provide feedback.

An exciting opportunity to deliver quality sports sessions and/or mentoring within our schools on a weekly basis. The Coach/Mentor will be passionate about embedding values within each session and be committed to our mission, to transform young peoples lives with Gods love, through sport and support.
